How we protect pupil data- Sign in with Google Workspace
- Staff sign in with Google Workspace. Your administrator allow-lists the school domain, so new staff join the right organisation without waiting for an invite.
- Or use an email address
- Staff without a school account can sign in with an email address and password. The password is checked against known breach data before it's accepted.
- Two-factor authentication for the whole school
- Use an authenticator app with backup codes. It is mandatory for every administrator, and one setting turns it on for everyone.
- Pupil records stay encrypted
- Pupil identities and document bodies are encrypted before they are stored, whichever sign-in method a person uses.
